The Cemaes Community Fridge is hosted by HWB Cemaes. It makes excess fresh food from the Co-Op in Amlwch freely available to anyone who signs up. Help fight food waste!
New items are collected and added to the fridge from Monday to Friday, so fresh produce is available almost daily, depending on what the Co-op has to pass on.
Access to the fridge is not needs-based, so please don’t think it’s not for you. This is about preventing otherwise good food from going to waste.
To access the fridge please sign up on the HWB Cemaes website in the Prepaid Plans section. Membership costs a one-off fee of £5 which goes to HWB Cemaes. You will then get a password and access to the fridge page on the HWB Cemaes website, which gives the current code for the door to the fridge.
