The Cemaes library was closed in July 2019. Local residents banded together to lease the building back from the council to use as a community centre.
Hwb Cemaes CIC was set up to manage the building and create a programme of after school and school holiday activities for children and young people. In time it is hoped that more community events and clubs will use the building making it a true hub for Cemaes.
